Day 1: Travel from Marrakech to Dades Gorge via Kasbah Ait ben haddou Skoura and the Valley of Roses
This three-day tour from Marrakech is one of the most popular tours we run. During this first stage, you will discover the spectacular Atlas Mountains, the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the cinema studios, the Kasbah tourist, the palm grove of Skoura, the Valley of Roses, and the Valley of Dades. The trip from Marrakech to Fes via the desert will start at 8:00 am, from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges via the High Atlas Tizi n’Tichka mountains. We stop to enjoy the impressive landscapes and Berber villages. On our way. We will visit the world heritage site of Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou as it was named by UNESCO in 1987. This Berber Kasbah has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers. it is an old salt road where caravans brought slaves, gold,
ivory, and silk from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech. We will visit the film studios and Kasbah Taouririt in Ouarzazate, then we will continue to the Dades Valley, passing through Skoura and Kalaat Megouna (Berber villages around the valley). dinner and overnight in the Dades Gorges.
Day 2: Journey From the Dades Gorges to the Merzouga Desert via the Todra Gorges, Tinjdad, Erfoud
During this second day, you will cross the Berber village Boumalne,
where you will take magnificent photos, of the city of Tinghir, the Todra palm grove,
the Todra gorges, the Tafilalt oasis, and Merzouga dunes. After breakfast,
we will start the second day of our 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fez,
passing from the Dades Gorges to the Merzouga desert. Berber villages are scattered along the way,
we will pass through the village of Imider and the town of Tenghir towards the Todra Gorges.
We will stop to take photos of the Todra palm grove and we will continue towards the Gorges where we will have lunch. in the afternoon we will continue through Tinjdad,
Jorf. Then towards Erfoud where we will feel the beginning of the Oasis of Tafilalet, we continue towards Merzouga, after a few minutes of relaxation.
Then you ride a camel on an adventure crossing the dunes of Erg Chebbi, it is a great opportunity to take beautiful photos of the sunset and sunrise.
When we reach the camp, we will leave the camels and we will walk towards the highest dunes, to watch the sunset. We will spend the night in a desert camp under nomadic Berber tents in the middle of the Sahara. dinner and night at the camp.
Day 3: Travel from Merzouga to Fes via Ziz Valley and Azrou Cedar Forest
The third day of this trip from Marrakech will take you to Fes the famous cultural city of Morocco, crossing the Ziz Valley.
