Day 1: Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech
We will travel from your accommodation in Tangier to Rabat, pass through Assilah, in Rabat we will visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, then we will continue to the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, after visiting this beautiful minaret on the Atlantic side we continue to Marrakech—dinner and night in a riad in the medina.
Day 2: Marrakech – high Atlas – Ait ben haddou – Dades gorges
After breakfast in your riad, we head south, crossing the High Atlas mountains via Tizi n Mishka, 2260m. We will visit the famous Kasbah of southern Morocco, classed as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1987. Then we continue towards the Dades Gorges, via the Skoura palm grove, where you will visit the Amridil kasbah, we then cross the valley of roses, and that of Dades, towards the magnificent Gorges of Dades—dinner and night in a local hotel.
Day 3: Dades gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we leave for the Merzouga desert, where we go through Touroug and Erfoud. In Merzouga, you will explore the dunes on camels, see the sunset over the dunes, and dine around the campfire. Spend an excellent night in the Sharian renversement.
Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Meknes
We will leave the Merzouga dunes towards Meknes, pass by Rissani, visit the big market of Tafialt, then continue towards Erfoud to see the fossils in a museum, from there our journey continues via Errachidia and Ziz valley to Midelt for lunch, then we will pass by the cedar forest in Azrou, Opportunity to see the monkeys in the forest. Then continue to Meknes. Dinner and a night in a hotel.
Day 5: Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we will visit the Molay Ismail mausoleum, and then we will continue to Molay Idriss Zerhoun holy city in Morocco. Continue to Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins. From there, we cross the Rif mountains to reach Cafchaouen. Dinner and a night in a Riad.
