Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Start your journey from Marrakech and head east towards Ouarzazate. Enjoy the scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village. Continue to Ouarzazate and explore the Atlas Film Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate to Merzouga
Leave Ouarzazate and travel southeast to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy the changing landscapes along the way, passing through the stunning Draa Valley and the Todra Gorges. Once in Merzouga, embark on a camel trek into the desert, witness a breathtaking sunset over the dunes, and spend the night in a traditional desert camp.
Day 3: Merzouga to Fes
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, depart Merzouga and head north to Fes. The drive from Merzouga to Fes takes approximately 6-7 hours. Upon arrival in Fes, relax and prepare for the next day’s exploration. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Fes to Chefchaouen
Leave Fes and head northwest to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. The drive from Fes to Chefchaouen takes around 4 hours. Spend the day exploring the blue-washed streets, visiting the Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and enjoying panoramic views from the Spanish Mosque. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 5: Chefchaouen to Casablanca
Depart Chefchaouen and travel southwest to Casablanca. The drive from Chefchaouen to Casablanca takes approximately 5 hours. In Casablanca, visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Explore the Corniche, a lively waterfront promenade, and stroll through the historic Medina. Overnight in Casablanca.
Day 6: Casablanca to Marrakech
On your final day, leave Casablanca and make your way back to Marrakech. The drive from Casablanca to Marrakech takes around 2-3 hours. Upon arrival in Marrakech, spend the day exploring the city, visiting attractions like the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the Bahia Palace, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Conclude your trip with a traditional Moroccan dinner and enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Marrakech.
