we will then explore the Kasbah with a local guide,
and then we will pass by to take beautiful photos of the Atlas studios and the Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate.
Return to Marrakech at 7:00 p.m. We will drop you off at your accommodation.
Located in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas in the Province of Ouarzazate,
the site of Ait-Ben-Haddou is the most famous ksar in the Ounila Valley.
The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. The ksar is a mainly collective grouping of dwellings.
The name of this particular settlement is derived from the tribal group of the inhabitants (Ait) and their family name (Ben Haddou) in Arabic ‘ben’ means son or sons, indicating the Ksar was originally constructed by the sons of a leader called Haddou.
